We spent last night and will spend tonight in Manchester. We booked a flight for tomorrow (April 4) to Amsterdam. We were planning time in Manchester at the end of our trip, but that will no longer be necessary. We will just pass through on our way home. A positive that will come from our planning snafu is that we will get to spend Queen's Day in Amsterdam. It should be a fun time.
Today we wandered around Manchester, visited a few museums, checked out a British pub, and ate at a vegan cafe. Here are some observations thus far:
Toiliet = Restroom
Way Out = Exit
Escalator = Escalator
Lift = Elevator
"We're ready to bug out" = "Can we have the check"
Cheers = Any Salutation
When crossing the street, look the opposite way you are inclined to look.
